LeMieux's junior safety stirrup is designed with equestrian expertise and machined from aviation-grade aluminium for lightweight strength.
The integrated hinged arm releases in the event of a fall. Designed for junior riders, the release mechanism is triggered with less force than the adult stirrup design.
The offset apex holds the stirrup at a 45° outward rotation for easier stirrup regain.
The ergonomic twin balance footplate is tilted 5° to help keep heels down and facilitate easy foot release. It also features a smoother texture than the adult stirrup design, tailored to young riders.
Stirrups should be of the correct size to suit the rider’s boots. It is strongly recommended that there is a minimum of 7mm (¼”) clearance on either side of the boot.
